The Hyatt Regency Lost Pines Resort in Cedar Creek, Bastrop County, Texas

In the Lost Pines area of Cedar Creek in Bastrop County Texas there is a wonderful destination hotel resort , the Hyatt Regency Lost Pines Resort nestled in the McKinney Roughs Nature Preserve area.

Here is a link to the hotel website   http://lostpines.hyatt.com/hyatt/hotels/index.jsp

Located about  15 minutes from the Austin Airport, 15 minutes from Bastrop, 30 minutes from central Austin, and a couple of hours easy drive to the coastline this is a great location to call home base for a trip to Central Texas.

The hotel offers a world class golf course,  access and special activities on the Colorado River, hiking and riding trails (seasonal horse rental available) a great pool and "lazy river",  spa, meeting and convention rooms,  top notch restaurants, tavern and cocktail lounge.

We live in Bastrop so I have not had the pleasure of staying there, but we do go to eat on special occasions (Birthdays and Christmas....they have an awesome holiday buffet every year!)  I have had Clients stay who are looking to relocate to Central Texas and they tell me it is one of the best destination resort hotel experiences they have ever had.
