Search for actual “horse properties” in Fayette County Texas

This morning(1/18/19) I did a search on the Houston Listing Service for actual “horse properties” that have some kind of horse-related improvements on them in Fayette County Texas.  The multiple listing pulled up 24 properties.  Sadly in pursuing through them all there were only three with horse barns.  Many of the listings mention barns but they are metal built shops with concrete floors which in my experience as a horse breeder, and horse property specialist in the southwest, is not a horse barn.  The rest of the properties all had pasture that most agents believe could also be great for horses, me I would be looking at the soil type also.  Anyhow, I digress, there were three properties Listing # 31458505 that was a metal build unfinished bardominium on beautiful acres, #51736418 a stunning getaway or full-time ranch with a five stall barn, and #76965233 acreage with “stables”.  You can see them all below but I caution you there really aren’t any pictures of the horse set up.  If you would like to schedule a private showing at any of these featured horse properties or if you would like me to find you others to consider in the area “in between” Austin, Houston, or San Antonio, please give me a call or contact me directly.  I would love the help you.  AND…for you Sellers out there who have ranch properties with or without horse facilities looking to sell, I would love to help you too!
Sorry we are experiencing system issues. Please try again.

Stunning horse ranch in Caldwell County TX

This weekend I was able to preview a stunning horse ranch located in Harwood Texas.  All I can say is WOW! It is located just north of the I10 corridor in the area I call the “in between” – the part of Texas that falls between Austin, Houston, and San Antonio.

This 50+/- acre horse  property is located between a few of the larger towns in the surrounding counties –  south of Bastrop, east of Luling, north of Waelder.

The home was built in 2007.  It is approximately 2835 sq. ft.  It has three bedrooms and thee and one half baths total.  Some of the highlights are a flex room over the garage currently used as a second living/media area, summer kitchen, and pool!  Upgrades in the home are numerous – built in entertainment center, vaulted ceilings, plantation shutters, slate tile on front and rear patios, granite counter tops…the list goes on and on.

The horse facilities were set up RIGHT!!! The center aisle barn is top notch  with lots of air flow which is important here in the hot Texas summers.  Big whole barn fan in the loft, windows above the center aisle, and ceiling fans!  There is a total of 8 stalls with individual pipe runs, auto waterers, grilled fronts and dividers. Barn is set up to keep clean easier with the concrete center aisle.  There is a barn office, tack and feed rooms.  The property has been fenced and cross fenced to crate 6 pastures with water.  There is also a lighted arena.

And folks…that’s not all!  It also has a one bedroom one bath guest cottage with large walk in closet, full kitchen, full laundry, covered patio. This has to be one of THE NICEST HORSE PROPERTIES I HAVE SEEN SINCE I MOVED TO TEXAS!  Can’t beat the list price for all that is there!  Couldn’t build it now for same.

Here is the kicker…I am not the listing agent ( although I should be! ) but I can represent Buyers.  Texas is an Agency State so it is in a Buyer’s best interest to use a Buyer’s Agent for representation as the Listing Agent is working for the Seller!  Our commissions are paid at close of escrow so my efforts to work for you as the Buyer doesn’t cost you anything!  If this property sounds like something you would like to see, PLEASE….CALL ME!
